After a week of some pretty grotty weather, we were blessed with a lovely evening for the Halloween Critical Mass. As is the case for Halloween, there was a very good turnout and a great atmosphere, with lots of people sporting fantastic costumes.

Heading out from St Peter’s Square, down Lloyd Street, the ride headed along Deansgate, down Quay Street and into Salford. From there, we proceeded onto Trinity Way, then Blackfriars Road and Chapel Street, before returning to Deansgate.

The ride then headed back to Albert Square and left towards Spring Gardens. It then proceeded onto New York Street and left onto Portland Street. From there, the ride headed for the Northern Quarter and arrived at The Angel for the partying to continue. At this point, I headed off as I had a gig to go to.

All in all, a very enjoyable Critical Mass, made particularly special by the turn out, the outfits, some great music from the soundsystems and fantastic great weather. Just wish I could have stuck around at The Angel for the evening.
